Who we are

Gusha is run by Solution Vault Limited (“we”). We are the data controller for the information you give Gusha. Contact us at ife@solutionvaultlimited.com.

What we collect

• Account details: your name and email address, and your sign-in details, which are handled by our sign-in provider.
• Financial information you enter: your profile (such as country of residence and household size), money you have, debts, regular income and spending (including support you send to family), and goals.
• How you use Gusha: a small number of events, such as finishing set-up or using “Can I afford this?”. These never include amounts or other financial figures.
• Technical logs: error records kept by our hosting provider. They never include your financial figures.

Gusha never asks for, or stores, bank passwords, bank login details or bank access tokens, and it doesn't connect to your bank.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

• To provide Gusha: showing your Money Map, observations, goals and affordability checks (contract).
• To keep Gusha secure and working, and to understand which features help people, using event counts without financial figures (legitimate interests).

We don't sell your data, show you adverts, or use your information to recommend financial products.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run Gusha for us, under contracts that require them to protect it:

• Clerk: sign-in and account security.
• Airtable: stores the information you enter.
• Vercel: hosts the Gusha website.

These providers are based in the United States, so your information may be transferred outside the UK. [Safeguards to be confirmed, e.g. the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.]

Cookies

Gusha only uses cookies that are needed to keep you signed in securely. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your information until you delete your account. When you do, we permanently delete everything you entered straight away. [Retention period for backups and hosting logs to be confirmed.]

Your rights

• See and take a copy: go to Profile → Your data to download everything (JSON or CSV).
• Correct it: edit anything in My money, Goals or Profile.
• Delete it: go to Profile → Delete my account.
• Object or ask a question: email ife@solutionvaultlimited.com.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
